The grandson of actor Pedro Gonzalez ( best known for his roles in John Wayne movies) carries on the families acting legacy appearing in countless major motion pictures such as Traffic, Capote’, Star Trek, Pacific Rim, Sunshine Cleaning and Triple 9 to name a few. He has also had roles in a variety of television shows beyond Westworld, The Shield, The Event and Thief for which he received an Emmy nomination.

Clifton Collins Jr. is the co-author along with Gustavo “Goose” Alvarez of the book Prison Ramen: Recipes and Stories From Behind Bars, a combination cook book and essay collection. The book features ramen recipes and first person accounts of life behind bars with contributions from celebrity friends Shia LeBough, Slash, and Danny Trejo. A portion of the proceeds from the books sales from Prison Ramen benefit Homeboy Industries an organization that works on gang rehabilitation.
