Producer, composer, arranger, musician and philanthropist King visits with adult legend Amber Lynn, to talk about his work with Mariah Carey, Tyrese, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, The Offspring and Rancid.

This week, Amber Lynn’s Rock-N-Sexxxy UnCensored podcast welcomes RIAA multi-platinum producer, composer, arranger and musician Ronnie King to the show, on July 7, Thursday, at 7pm PDT. Music fans can call in live to the UBNGO studio to talk to Amber and Mr. King, at (323) 524-2599.

Best known for his collaboration with late, legendary rapper Tupac Shakur, King can be found on tracks “Better Dayz (Featuring Ronald Isley)” (2002), “Thug N U Thug N Me,” (2001), working with pioneering producer,  Johnny J. King also appeared on Shakur’s “And Still I Rise” (1999) and “Until the End of Time” (2001).

“Rock-N-Sexxxy fans that are into hip hop should call in, right? Because I don’t know anything about rap… I want to know what Tupac was really like because obviously he’s an icon and legend,” Amber commented. “Ronnie is the real thing, like OG – he even worked for Death Row Records.”

Acts that King has worked with over his distinguished career include Coolio, Warren G, Bizzy Bone, Kottonmouth Kings, Pennywise, Rancid, T.S.O.L. and Steel Pulse, among many others, and his work has garnered Oscar and Grammy nominations.

Most recently, King has worked with The Offspring on their first album release in nine years, “Let the Bad Times Roll,” which hit the top of the U.S. Billboard alternative and rock charts in 2021. King also made a couple of dates for “Danzig Sings Elvis,” the 2020 solo lounge show by Danzig frontman Glenn Danzig.

“This week’s show is like a diverse, delicious, every flavor buffet of musical genres for listeners who are into hip hop, metal, punk, Elvis,” Amber added.

Legendary UK Punk Band The Automatics Pay a Visit to Amber Lynn’s Rock-N-Sexxxy UnCensored on Thursday, June 30, to Talk About the State of the World Today

#RSNU

“Just kidding,” said Rock-N-Sexxxy host and legendary adult star Amber Lynn. “We’re gonna talk shit about the Sex Pistols.”

Amber Lynn’s Rock-N-Sexxxy UnCensored this week welcomes pioneering UK punk band The Automatics, who will be live in the UBNGO.com studio. Fans can all in at (323) 524-2599, on Thursday night at 7pm PDT, and speak – uncensored – with Amber and the band.

“Punk rock is having a moment right now because of HULU series Pistol, so I want to hear what (lead vocalist) David Philp has to say about what it was really like hanging out with those guys back then,” Steve Jones “Jonesy” is featured on some tracks for The Automatics as well Amber said, and when is The Automatics biopic dropping??.

The Automatics played with bands including the Sex Pistols and the Damned at London’s famous musical venue the Marquee Club. Produced by iconic impresario Steve Lillywhite (U2, Morrisey, Thompson Twins, The Killers, among others), the band’s first hit single, “When the Tanks Roll Over Poland Again,” was released in 1978. Since then, frontman Philp has brought British punk to Japan and been interviewed by Ira Glass for  NPR’s This American Life.  The original line-up of The Automatics featured Philp on vocals and guitar, along with Wally Hacon (guitar), Bobby Collins (bass) and Ricky “Rocket” Goldstein (drums).

In May, the band reached the Top 10 of UK radio DJ and author’s Mike Read’s Heritage Chart with “Cold Steel Serenade.” The single features UK musician Neil Frost and has appeared on several UK charts since it was released this year. Frost also was featured on The Automatic’s single “Wild Ride Through Wonderland,” from album “Star Maps of the Underworld,” released in 2021. A video for “Cold Steel Serenade,” produced by Screaming Egos Productions, “captures what I hope the song reflects- the brutal oppression of the Ukrainian people by an evil dictator,” Philp said.

“Back then, times were tough and bands – especially punk bands – had no problem holding up a middle finger to authority, so, I’d love to know what they think about politics now, since the whole world is like a blazing dumpster fire,” Amber pondered. “Today, we need punk and metal bands more than ever, I think.”
