This week’s special guest is almost everyone’s favorite “bad little boy” Scott Schwartz, who became America’s sweetheart and won hearts worldwide after landing his breakout role co-starring opposite comedian Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason (Honeymooners) in 1982’s The Toy directed by Richard Donner. He also starred in Kidco by director Ronald Maxwell.
Then he was featured in the holiday blockbuster release A Christmas Story, as Flick the kid who’s probably most remembered for getting his tongue stuck to a frozen flagpole which turned him into a household name and one of the most iconic child actors of an entire generation before going on to appear in multiple noted Hollywood films and television movies.
In 1985 he appeared in A Time To Live opposite the legendary Liza Minneli, Jeffery Munn, and the late Corey Haim. This year Schwartz will return to the big screen to reprise his role as that “bad little boy now grown up” Flick in A Christmas Story sequel, A Christmas Story Christmas released by Warner Bros Pictures, and HBO MAX.
